ABOUT
My name is Martin Whitelock and I'm a Personal Trainer from London.
​I started out as a sports development assistant at 17, and after years of teaching
different disciplines I eventually figured out my passion as a coach was in the gym.
As a freelance PT I used to travel all around London to get from one client to the next and I'd often cycle through King's Cross. The polished area you see today was in it's infancy but at the time it felt like a huge building site.
The area was quiet and fitness offerings were limited.​ All I needed was space. Somewhere to offer strength & conditioning workouts that were affordable to both local residents and occupiers. It was here in King's Cross where I started to realise the potential. So, MW5 Bootcamps along with the King's Cross Run Club was created. And so the mission began; to build strong bodies, strong minds and an even stronger community.

It's been more than 10 years since the first Bootcamp started and as the area continues to grow and develop a personality of it's own, so does MW5 Fitness. A small team with big plans. Together were making an impact. That's how we roll. Finding common ground through hard graft, no-nosense workouts and inspiring functional expressive fitness.​
